SRINAGAR: Probational Sub- Inspector, who was injured in a militant attack at Khanyar here, succumbed to the injuries at SKIMS Soura, officials said.
Quoting a police official news agency GNS reported that the SI identified as Arshid Ahmad was removed to the tertiary care hospital soon after he sustained three bullet wounds in a militant attack near Khanyar.
Medical Superintendent Farooq Jan also confirmed about the death of the SI.
Earlier he was being operated in SKIMS. The deceased was a resident of Kulmoona Kupwara, the official said.
