Police Saturday produced  Challan  against all the accused including a Pakistani National allegedly involved in Police-Public School Bemina Fidayeen Attack before the Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar.

At least five CRPF personnel from 73 Battalion were killed in March this year when two fidayeen fired upon them indiscriminately in the premises of Police Public School Bemina. These were identified as ASI A.P.Singh, Subhash Rao, Om Prakash, L.Parimal and Satish Kumar. Both the militants, Muhammad Hyder and Saif, allegedly involved in the attack were killed on spot.

The police challan reads that during police investigation it was revealed that five persons were in league with the two deceased militants who planned this attack. Four militants were arrested by police while one militant namely, Majid Bashir Khan from Shaheed Ganj is still at large.

Police produced all the four accused in the court of law today. One of the accused Pradeep Singh son of Bhopindar Singh resident of Kanispora, Baramula was released on bail as police has booked him only under section 19 of Unlawful Activities Act.

Besides Pradeep Singh, the other militants, produced in the court of CJM Srinagar, Rajeev Gupta were Muhammad Zubair aka Talha son of Muhammad Sadiq resident of Multan, Bashir Ahmed Mir aka Haroon son of Muhammad Zamin resident of Namla Uri and Syed Mukhtar Hussain son of Syed Muhammad Hussain resident of Uri.

All the accused except Pradeep Singh have been booked under sections 302, 307, 120B, 326, 323, 467, 447A, RPC, 7/25 Arms Act, 3/4/5 SUBS Act, 16,18,19, 20, 40 Unlawful Activities Act. An FIR vide 51/2013 stands registered against the accused in police station Parimpora Srinagar.

In its Challan police has recorded the statements of 107 witnesses.

Advocate Shafkat and advocate Ajaz Beedar pleaded the case of the accused. The case would be listed for next hearing on Sep 23.
