Srinagar: Police on Wednesday claimed that during Naka checking at Bemina by-pass crossing, Srinagar they busted a militant module by arresting three Kishtwar youths and recovered arms and ammunition from them, reports said.
Reports quoting Police identified the arrested youth as Riyaz Ahmad Wani son of Mohammad Ramzan Wani R/o Dachan Kishtwar, Ikhlaq Ahmad Khanday son of Ghulam Rasool Khanday R/o Dachan Kishtwar and Tosweef ul Nabi S/o Ghulam Nabi Gundroo R/o Main Kishtwar.
They claimed 2 Chinese pistols, 20 rounds of Pistol, Live 4 Grenades, 1 wireless set and one packet of explosive where recovered from their possession.
Police sources said that a case FIR no. 41/2017 U/S 7/25 A. ACT, 3/5 Exp. SUB. ACT has been registered in this regard.
