Police recovers arms and explosive from Bandipora

Srinagar: Government forces on Sunday seized a pistol and some explosive from an open field in Hajjin village of Bandipora district of north Kashmir.

 Police assisted by troops of 13 Rashtriya Rifles and 45th Battalion of CRPF, acting on a tip-off, recovered the pistol, two grenades, two under barrel grenade launchers, a full magazine of AK-47, wrapped in a polythene bag in an open field at Banyari village of Hajjin around 4.AM, official sources said.

They said no arrests have been made in this connection. (Kashmir Wire)
