Jammu and Kashmir police on Wednesday claimed to have recovered incriminating materials during the searches in Bijbhera and Samboora in Islamabad and Pulwama districts.

“On the strength of search warrants, Budgam Police conducts searches in Samboora and Bijbehara,”  the spokesman said in a statement.

The spokesman said that “continuing investigation of a sensitive case registered at Budgam, search warrants were obtained from the competent court and accordingly three places in Bijbehara and Samboora were searched. Pertinently the assistance of Anantnag police and Awantipora police were taken in the search besides independent witnesses.”

“Incriminating materials recovered during the search have been duly processed for judicial endorsement. Investigation of the case is under progress,” added a spokesman in a statement.
