Police station Nowhatta on Wednesday arrested two buglers and recovered stolen property worth lakhs of rupees in Srinagar.
The spokesman said a special team was formulated by Sub Division Khanyar Police to nab the culprits involved in the theft of jewellery, fabrics and vehicles.
During the sustained efforts of the special team, two thieves were apprehended and jewellery, fabrics and one Alto car were recovered were recovered from their possession.
To this effect FIR No 01/2018 under section 379 RPC, FIR No 55/2017 under section 457,380 RPC and FIR No 27/2017 under section 457, 380 RPC stand has been registered.
Police said that further investigation is going on and there are more recoveries expected.
