SRINAGAR: A Jammu and Kashmir Pole spokesman said they arrested a militant associate in Bandipora. Recoveries include a grenade and 50 live AK series rounds.
The arrest was a joint effort by the Police, 14RR and CRPF Bn 3 and the arrest took place in the Putushai area Bandipore. The arrested person was identified as Irshad Ahmad Mir son of Mohammad Yousuf Mir resident of Onagam.
The spokesman said he has been working as an associate of proscribed outfit LeT. On his disclosure, a grenade and 50 live AK series rounds were recovered. Mir, the spokesman added is a history-sheeter. A formal case has been registered against him.
