Jammu and Kashmir police on Tuesday sought help from the public to identify a person involved in “cheating and theft” case.
The police spokesman in a statement said Srinagar Police seeks the help of the general public in identifying an accused person involved in a cheating and theft case at Police Station Kothibagh.
“The photographs obtained from the CCTV footage are of the accused wanted in cheating & theft case. In this regard, case FIR No. 24/2018 under section 420, 379 RPC stands registered in Police Station Kothibagh and investigation is going on,” said spokesman.

The name of the person providing any clue or information regarding the said accused person will be kept secret, police said.
