Shopian Police on Monday launched a drive against traffic violators in its district, 37 vehicles were seized and 75 were challaned on the spot.
The spokesman said that main aim of the drive was to prevent road accidents and traffic violations in the district.
During the drive, 37 vehicles were seized and 75 vehicles were challaned on the spot.
The spokesman added that drive will continue and the general public is advised to keep valid documents within when plying their vehicles and motorcyclists are also advised to wear helmets while riding their Motorcycles.
