Police Solve 2016 Bank Fraud Case in North Kashmir

   

SRINAGAR: In a significant breakthrough, police in Jammu Kashmir’s Baramulla have successfully solved a decade-old fraud case and arrested the accused.

“The case, dating back to 2016, was registered at Police Station Boniyar under FIR No. 3/2016 under Section 420 of the RPC. It was solved with the arrest of Manoj Das, a resident of Deoghar, Jharkhand, who was involved in an online bank fraud amounting to Rs 90,000,” a police spokesperson in a statement said.

Further investigation is underway, police said.
