In first of its kind, police in collaboration with an NGO “Environmental, Social and Sport Association of Youth (ESSAY) has started free coaching classes for students of far flung areas in Kargil from Tuesday.

According to the police spokesman, the free coaching classes for students was inaugurated by Superintendent of Police, Kargil,  Rahul Malik.

The coaching will be provided from class 6th to 10th students of far flung areas of Tehsil Tai-Suru and Panikhar. A total of 402 students have registered their names for these coaching classes.

SP Kargil while speaking on the occasion highlighted the importance of quality education and competitive spirit among the students. He assured the people present on the occasion that police will provide all possible help as and when required.

A large number of students and respectables of the area besides senior police officers were present at the inaugural function.
