SRINAGAR: Police have decided to take strict action against those who throng at tourist spot Nilnag in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Sources told that men, women, boys and girls were trying to vist picnic spot Nilnag on the day of Eid. Shortly, after receiving information about it, police started a drive, prohibiting people from visiting Nilnag in wake of Covid-related lockdown that is in vogue across Jammu and Kashmir.
More than 47 km’s away from summer capital Srinagar, Nilnag is a small Lake near Yusmarg that lies in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
In recent past at least two boys had drowned while taking bath at Nilnag lake. (KNT)
