SRINAGAR: A policeman was killed in a road accident in the Soura area of Srinagar on Thursday morning.
Quoting an official, KNO reported that a scooty bearing registration number JK16B-7611 collided with a truck on the 90ft road, resulting in the on-the-spot death of the scooty rider.
The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Amin Bhat, son of Mohammad Yousuf Bhat of Repora Lar Ganderbal.
He was working as a selection grade constable in the J&K Police.
