As the counting of votes begun at 8, Independent candidate Er Rasheed has taken an early lead over his nearest rival Mohammad Akbar Lone of the National Conference (NC) in Baramulla parliamentary constituency.
The latest update shows that in the total of the 106419 votes counted, Er Rasheed is at 30104 and Mohammad Akbar Lone 25793.
