SRINAGAR: A 22-year-old pony operator was found dead inside a water tank in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district on Friday, officials said.
Quoting an official, the news agency KNO reported that the body was recovered from a water tank in the Matyal area of Katra after police were informed about the incident.
The official said the body was shifted to the Community Health Centre (CHC), Katra, for post-mortem examination. The identity of the deceased has not yet been established.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the cause of death.
