SRINAGAR: Two soldiers have been injured in the ongoing operation in the Surankote area of Poonch, an official said.
The official informed the news agency KS that the injuries occurred during an apparent ambush on army personnel conducting an anti-militancy operation in the Surankote area along the DKG-Buffliaz road.
“The injured army personnel have been swiftly evacuated from the site and transported to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment.”
“Significant reinforcements of security forces have been deployed to the site to conduct a thorough search for the terrorists,” the official added.
