SRINAGAR: Police and army reportedly recovered 2.5 kilograms of heroin in Poonch district on Wednesday.
A police official said that the Army, in collaboration with the police, initiated a joint search operation based on suspicion in the Degwar Terwan area of Poonch district and discovered 2.5 kg of heroin.
Confirming the incident, another police official said that a case has been registered, and further investigations are underway. (GNS)
