All flights to and from Srinagar International Airport were Friday cancelled owing to bad visibility.
Officials at the airport told Kashmir Life that the whole runway at the airport is enveloped with a thick blanket of fog which has reduced the visibility. “In such conditions, flights can-not land on the run way.”
The operations will be resumed once the weather gets better, airport authorities told Kashmir Life.
Notably, weathermen have predicted a thick blanket of fog is likely to affect visibility for another few days.
