SRINAGAR: A porter was injured after he accidentally stepped on a landmine along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Mankote sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Saturday, officials said.
Reliable sources said that the incident occurred during routine movement in the forward area, they said.
The injured porter was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where his condition was stated to be stable they added. (KNC)
