SRINAGAR: Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur offers post-doctoral fellowships to do independent research work in an advanced area of science and technology.
The award carries a monthly fellowship at a rate that is fixed on the basis of the qualification and experience of the candidate. The application process continues throughout the year.
Selected candidates will be engaged in full time research and teaching in an area approved by the respective Department/Centre/School.
Persons who have a PhD degree with excellent academic record and have published research papers /patents to their credit are eligible for the fellowship.
The candidates should be preferably below 35 years of age. There is a reservation of seats and age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
Candidates possessing requisite qualification & experience are required to apply online and send a signed hardcopy print out of online application to “Assistant Registrar, PGS&R, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur–721302, WB, India”.
Pertinent to mention, unless the hardcopy is received, the application will not be considered.
