Incarcerated chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik on Saturday was taken to Khyber Hospital for a necessary medical check-up and then driven back to police station Maisuma in Srinagar.

The spokesman said that Malik who is imprisoned in police station Maisuma from last many days has developed severe back pain. Confinement to a small room has actually aggravated his already fragile health. It is worth to mention that JKLF chairman is a chronic heart patient who has to take blood thinner medicine on daily basis and go through regular heart check-up. After a medical checkup, Malik was shifted back to police station Maisuma.

Meanwhile, the spokesman claimed that Police today arrived at the office of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) at Abi-Guzar and arrested zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri from there. After taken into custody, Bashir Kashmiri has been shifted to police station Kothi-bagh.
