SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah provided an update on Saturday on the restoration of power in Kashmir following the heavy snowfall.
The Chief Minister confirmed that, out of the 41 dysfunctional 33KV feeders in the region, 37 have been restored and recharged.
Out of fortyone 33KV feeders dysfunctional in Kashmir due to heavy snowfall, thirty seven have been restored and charged.
Similarly, out of 739 dysfunctional 11KV feeders,

“Similarly, out of 739 dysfunctional 11KV feeders, 639 have been restored, providing significant relief to the valley. The majority of the rest are expected to be restored by evening,” CM wrote on X.
He also commended the Power Development Department (PDD) for their efforts in restoring power. “Thanks to the PDD team for their dedicated work during this snowfall,” CM Omar Abdullah said.
