SRINAGAR: A blast occurred in the CT of the 132kV side at Wanpoh Grid Station on Saturday causing significant disruption to the power supply across Anantnag and its surrounding areas.
The firefighters were immediately called to the scene and are engaged in efforts to manage the situation. According to official reports, the 132kV incoming bay CT at the Wanpoh grid has been severely damaged, affecting areas including Anantnag town, Ashajipora, Qazigund, Khudwani, Kamad, and Mominabad.
Officials confirmed that the restoration of power may take approximately two hours as repairs are underway. (JKNS)
