Power Supply to Remain Affected in Parts of South Kashmir on May 21, 23

   

SRINAGAR: The Chief Engineer, Distribution, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL), has announced scheduled shutdowns of two 33 kV power lines, affecting electricity supply to several areas of south Kashmir on May 21 and 23.

According to the department, the shutdown of the 33 kV Shamshipora Tap Line will be observed due to maintenance works, resulting in power disruption in Shamshipora, Sudsanoo, TurkaTachloo and adjoining areas from 10 am to 3 pm on May 21 and May 23, 2026.

Similarly, the shutdown of the 33 kV MID Khiram Lift Irrigation Tap Line will affect power supply to Dogipora, Khiram/Doorpora, Khiram/Sirhama and Khudpora Khiram from 10 am to 3 pm on May 23, 2026.

Meanwhile, the Chief Engineer said the shutdown of the 33 kV Awantipora Line, which had been scheduled for May 21, 2026, has been cancelled.
