Hundreds of protestors this evening blocked the Sgr-Jmu highway at Nowgam against the unscheduled power cuts during the month of Ramadhan.
The protestors from Nowgam and its adjoining areas including Wanabal, Shakerpora, Sathu, and BK Pora raised Anti PDD slogans and blocked the Highway for about an hour.They alleged that the concerned PDD authorities deployed at Kanipora Power Grid station put people to a huge inconvenience by unnecessary power cuts.The angry protestors tried to enter into the Kanipora Grid Station but the police interruption prevented them from entering the premises
