SRINAGAR: On the eve of 2026, President Droupadi Murmu addressed the nation, extending New Year greetings and calling for renewed commitment to development, social harmony and environmental protection.
In her message, the President said the New Year offers an opportunity for renewal and self-reflection, and urged citizens to resolve to bring about positive change in their personal lives and in society at large.
President Murmu conveyed her wishes for peace, happiness and prosperity, expressing hope that the year ahead would infuse fresh energy into efforts to build a stronger India.
She also underlined the importance of collective endeavour in shaping national progress and extending India’s positive influence among Indian communities across the world.
