SRINAGAR: Aiqa Bano, former Director of Libraries and Research and a Joint Director in Education department has passed away. She was also a Vice President in Adbi Markaz Kamraz.
Ms Bano who rose the ranks in the education department is especially being credited for creating a private museum in the space she created and owned. In the last years of her life she was trying to get some support for its scientific preservation.
Reporst suggest her funeral prayers are being offered in Sopore on October 5, at 10 am.
