The Jammu Wing of High directed the Secretary J&K Public Service Commission to produce records pertaining to conformation of private respondent Dr Shashi Gupta failing which the Secretary shall appear in person before the Court on September 6 when the CMP would be taken for hearing.

On last date of hearing on August 22, 2013 the Court had directed the State to file objections to the main petition within one week, which were filed by the State today itself. The Court has given three weeks time to the petitioner to file counter and the respondents have been given one week thereafter to file rejoinder, if any. The main petition has been directed to be listed for hearing thereafter. The petitioner, in her petition has challenged the legality of elevation of Dr Shashi Gupta private respondent as Principal, GMC, which according to the petitioner has been done by fraudulent manipulation of her service records and issuance of forged promotion order.
