Senior Congress politician Prof Saifuddin Soz Friday greeted Greater Kashmir Editor-in-Chief, Fayaz Kaloo, on his becoming member of Editors Guild of India.
“I greet you for this honour heartily for the fact that you earned this recognition for your dedication to this profession.
You grew before my very eyes and I know how hard you worked, especially, in the early years of GK launch,” Soz writes in his letter to GK Editor.
“Seeing your dedication and consistent hard work, I had predicted that you would rise on the horizon of Journalism one day!” he adds.
Prof Soz further writes, “I wish you all the best in life and in the stewardship of GK which has assumed the status of a vibrant medium representing aspirations of various sections of the society in J&K State.” “It is further heartening to know that you happen to be the first journalist in Kashmir to become a member of the writers Editors Guild of India.”
