Recipient of several awards, Prof Shabir A. Bhat, is the new Director, Centre for Career Planning and Counseling, University of Kashmir.
Remarking on his appointment, Prof. Shabir said, “It is a privilege for me taking over this important role and I am fully aware of the responsibilities and challenges that are ahead.”
He added “My focus will be on enhancing the employability of students through development of appropriate skills and align higher education with the current and future requirements of industries, enhance competence and character, building academic partnerships with the reputed institutions and universities, creating a vibrant academic environment and facilities for pursuing various competitive courses.”
