University of Kashmir (KU) on Tuesday appointed Professor Farooq Ahmad Khan as Rector of the Satellite Campus, Leh. An order to this effect was issued on Tuesday, December 4, 2018.
The spokesman said that Khan, a senior faculty, Department of Management Studies has more than 35 years of teaching, research and administrative experience to his credit.
Khan has held very important positions in the University over the years which includes Director, Centre for Career Planning and Counselling (CCPC) and Coordinator NSS. He is the recipient of Indra Gandhi NSS award with a citation at Durbar Hall, Rashtrapati Bhawan.
