SRINAGAR: Prominent athlete and general secretary Wushu Association North Kashmir, Jabeena Akhter passed away on Friday after a prolonged illness at a hospital in Srinagar.
One of the family members said that Jabeena was undergoing treatment at JVC Bemina for several months.
He said today she breathed her last at the hospital. A resident of Tangmarg, she was suffering from a chronic lung disease.
Meanwhile, people from cross sections of the society expressed grief over her demise.
