Prominent hotelier Ifshan Khanday passes away

Ifshan Khanday a young hotelier and entrepreneur of Kashmir, a resident of Nowgam area of Srinagar passed away in Chandigarh on Monday.

Reports said that Khanday had gone to Chandigarh and was staying at a hotel there. When the hotel management opened the door to the room they found Khanday unconscious. Khanday was rushed to the hospital but they declared him as brought dead.

Ifshan was running a hotel Pine Rich hotel in tourist destination Gulmarg.

Reports also said that it could be probably a massive heart attack, but the cause of the death is not known yet. The dead body was later shifted to the hospital for further medico-legal formalities.

Meanwhile, National Conference working President Omar Abdullah has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of valleys prominent young hotelier Ifshan Khanday who died of a massive heart attack in Chandigarh.

Expressing shock and grief over Ifshan’s demise, Omar Abdullah extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
