SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police have ordered the attachment of properties belonging to five militants operating from Pakistan as part of an ongoing crackdown on terror networks, officials said on Thursday.
The action was ordered by JK Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat, police said in a post on X.
In a separate development, police have initiated proclamation proceedings against Mohd Qasim, described by officials as a top Lashkar-e-Taiba operative operating from Pakistan.
Officials said Qasim’s property had already been attached in March 2026.
The latest actions are part of the police’s efforts to target the assets of individuals involved in Militant activities and disrupt support networks operating from across the border.
