Amid cordon and searches by armed forces in South Kashmir, situation turned volatile when people took to streets and started protests.
Witnesses said that army had laid a cordon and search operation in Khudwani area in Kulgam district early Monday.
Forces had resort to aerial firing, tear gas shelling while youth resorted to heavy stone pelting in Hawoora-Redwani villages of Khudwani in Kaimoh.
