Accusing BJP and Shiv Sena of “tarnishing” the secular fabric of India, Sikh Minority Front (SMF) Friday warned State Government that it will start a state wide agitation if government “fails to identify and book” the police official responsible for the killing of a Sikh youth in Jammu.

“Bhindrawale is our leader and we can’t act as mute spectators if someone insults our leader. We fail to understand what India has problems with the photographs and hoardings of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale,” Front president Harjit Singh told CNS adding that different organizations of Sikh Community have decided to join hands to protest against the brutal killing of Sikh youth in Jammu and the insult done to the late Bhindrawale by removing his posters and hoardings in Jammu.

Sikh Minority Front alleged that RSS and Shiv Sena have been playing a “dangerous game to attack and insult” the minorities living in India.

“These two parties have always been busy in spewing venom against minorities especially Muslims. Sikhs are not going to act as mute spectators and will give these communal elements a befitting reply,” Front said.

Front further said that the Sikhs in India and Jammu and Kashmir are ready to die for Bhindrawale. “We condemn the action of those policemen who removed the posters and hoardings of Bhindrawale on the behest of RSS and Shiv Sena leaders,” Front president said and added that from Saturday, all the Sikh bodies in Kashmir will intensify their protests which will continue till ‘killer’ cop is not identified and booked.
