Authorities slapped Public Safety Act (PSA) Hurriyat Jammu Kashmir (HCJK) leader Mushtaq-ul-Islam. This was stated by  HCJK chief Shabir Shah on Friday.

Expressing serious resentment over the shifting of Muslim from one jail to another and booking him under PSA, Shabir Shah has alleged the government of levelling “false allegations” against the political opponents so as to keep them at bay from the political sphere. “Their (government’s) tall claims of being the followers of democracy are hollow,” Shah said.

Mushtaq was arrested on April 13 from his house at batamaloo. He was detained at many police stations  before lodging him in the district jail Baramulla. According to HCJK statement Mushtaq has been now slapped with PSA.

However, official authorities did not confirm the slapping of PSA on Mushtaq.
