Gumen on late Wednesday afternoon shot at and injured PSO of National Conference leader Shabir Ahmad Kullay in Shopian in southern part of Kashmir.
The PSO has been identified as Ashiq Hussain who is a Personal Security Officer (PSO) of Shabir Ahmed Kullay.
Shabir contested the 2014 elections from a south Kashmir constituency.
Ashiq was shot near the petrol pump in Bongam Shopian and has been shifted to a Srinagar Hospital for treatment.
