Urging people to unite for a change People’s United Front (PUF) leaders Dr Shah Faesal, Er Rashid and Javid Mustafa have reiterated their resolve to provide an alternative to the traditional political parties. Addressing a public gathering at Sumbal Sonawari today Dr Shah Faesal promised a clean and neat political alternative which will come true to the expectations of masses.
“It is disgraceful that local politicians getting indulged in vote bank politics and do spend public money without caring for the purpose for which it is meant for. People must come forward and become part of the change so that not only they get the best governance but find a leadership that is capable of protecting their political rights as well. Be it article 35-A of 370 all conspiracies against the special status of the state will be resisted tooth and nail,” the spokesman quoted Dr Faesal as saying.
On the occasion, Chairman Coordination committee PUF Javid Mustafa Mir appealed masses for unity and said that PUF will certainly emerge as a strong alternative, as the traditional parties have failed to deliver anything on the ground.
“Seeking resolution to Kashmir issue does not mean being a Pakistani agent or anti-national. We need not seek permission from anyone in New Delhi or Islamabad what to speak and when to speak as it is Kashmiris who matter first and most for the reason they are victims of circumstances and that of broken promises,” Rasheed said in a statement.
