Two of the six injured BSF men have died in the Koil attack by militants, police sources said.
Pertinently, police had said that six BSF men were injured in a militant attack in Koil, Pulwama Saturday afternoon.
“Two of the injured have died,” police sources informed.
The two dead have been identified as ASI Rodhan Yadav, Constable Sodagar Yadav belonging to 150 Battalion BSF. While the injured are Head Constable Jai Prakash, Constable Amar Bahadur, Driver-Constable Vinod Kumar of 92 BSF Battalion and Constable Sarabjeet Singh of 165 BSF Battalion.
This is the third attack on armed forces and second on BSF in this week. The first one took place last Monday late mid-night in which 8 BSF men were seriously injured. Later, a police party was attacked in Galander area in the outskirts of Pampore leaving two cops and a civilian dead.
