District Administration Pulwama Sunday issued an order to close the Government Degree College for April 17 and 18.

More than fifty college students were injured in force’s action in the college after clashes erupted in the south Kashmir town on Saturday.
“Following the clashes that broke out between the forces personnel and the students of the government degree college (Boys), Pulwama on 15 April, 2017, where in numerous students have reportedly been injured, the principal degree college Pulwama as well as the students are being informed not to attend the college on 17th and 18th of April, 2017 as the college will remain closed on the said days,” District Magistrate Pulwama said in a statement.
