Srinagar: One civilian has been killed in clashes with forces around the encounter site in Padgampora village of Pulwama district in southern part of Kashmir, Police said.
Police sources identified the slain civilian as Amir Nazir Wani son of Nazir Ahmad Wani resident of Begumbagh Kakpora.
Amir, 16, had suffered bullet injury in the clashes with forces who were engaged in an encounter with militants in Padgampora area.
Meanwhile, reports said that many civilian protesters have been injured in the clashes.
Pertinently, one militant is reported dead in the encounter so far.
