Two militants have been killed during an encounter between the government forces and militants in Tikken area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday morning.
Reports said that during the encounter two militants were killed, however, the identification of them slain duo was not revealed yet.
The gunfight began after a joint team of army’s 55RR, 180/183 BN CRPF and SOG cordoned off Tikken area after getting specific information about the presence of some militants in the area.
As the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot the hiding militants fired upon government forces triggering an encounter.
