Following the killing of two civilians and a militant in South Kashmir on Sunday, Hurriyat Conference (m) chief and JKLF called for a complete shutdown in state on Monday.
“Yasin Malik has requested people to observe complete shutdown to protest over the civilian killing of 19-year-old Danish Farooq and 22-year-old Shaista Hameed in Kakapora,” JKLF spokesperson told Kashmir Life.
Terming the killings as “highly unfortunate and unjustified”, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said, “the forces in Kashmir have become trigger-happy. People must observe a complete shutdown tomorrow against these innocent killings.”
