A complete shutdown is being observed in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday for the second consecutive day to mourn the killing of four militants in a gunfight with the forces.

Reports said that all shops and other commercial establishments are closed in town while public transport is off the roads.

They said that forces have been deployed at various places in Pulwama town to to prevent any protests.

Reports said that people from different areas are visiting the residence of the militants to offer condolences to the families.

Four Jaish-e-Mohammad militants were killed in a gunfight with the government forces in Hanjan area of the district on Saturday.
