A complete shutdown is being observed in Pulwama district in southern Kashmir where three militants, including Divisional Commander of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), were killed in a gunfight with forces, reports said on Tuesday.

An army soldier was also killed in the cross firing while a civilian injured in clashes near the encounter site in Aglar village.

Shops and business establishments remained closed and traffic was also off the roads in Pulwama, where authorities have suspended mobile service since last night, sources said.

Meanwhile, mobile internet services in the district have been snapped to prevent law and order problems.
