Pulwama’s Rohmoo village shuts against alleged harassment by army

A shutdown was observed in Rohmoo village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday against the alleged harassment by the army during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.

According to the locals during the hours of stay in the village beside damaging the properties many locals were also thrashed during the night. The locals have demanded the action against the soldiers involved in the incident.

Meanwhile, SP Pulwama Mohammad Aslam Choudhary said he has directed the concerned SHO to investigate the matter.

An Army PRO while talking to Kashmir Life said that the allegations against the army are baseless, “Army has not harassed anybody in the village the allegations by the locals are totally baseless.”
