SRINAGAR: A non-local labourer from Punjab was found dead after being discovered unconscious in his rented accommodation in the Natipora area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Friday, officials said.
“The deceased has been identified as Banti Masi, a carpenter from Gurdaspur, Punjab. He was found unconscious inside his room at Stadium Colony, Natipora, and was rushed to SMHS Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead,” they said.
Cognisance of the incident has been taken, and further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
