SRINAGAR: Four bodies have been recovered and one person is missing after a cloudburst in upper belt of Dangiwacha at Hamam Marcoot Jurisdiction of police station Dagiwacha in Rafiabad Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
An official statement reads that during the intervening night of September 11, 12 a cloudburst occurred in upper belt of Dangiwacha at Hamam Marcoot Jurisdiction of P/S Dagiwacha Sopore.
“Police and SDRF teams rushed to the spot and four dead bodies have been recovered,” reads the statement.
They have been identified as Shahnaza Begum (30) wife of Mohammad Farooq Khari, daughter Nazia Akhtar (14), son Arif Hussain (5) and Tariq Ahmad Khari (8), all residents of Nowshera Rajouri.
One person namely Mohammad Bashir Khari age about 80 years son of Chandi Khari a resident of Kalsiyan Nowshera Rajouri is still missing.
