Army man was killed in an ongoing gunfight between forces and holed up militants in north Kashmir’s Rafiabad area on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the army man died on the spot after hit by bullets fired by two militants holed inside a residential house near Public Health Centre in Ladoora village.
Earlier in the day, a heavy gunfire rattled Ladoora when a joint party of army and police’s SOG acted on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
